I recently stumbled upon this image on Pinterest of a "thirty day blog challenge." I would post the picture of the "challenge list," but it's somewhat difficult to read and kinda large. So, you'll just have to take my word on what each day is. ;) Since I'm just getting my blog started, I thought it might be something fun to try! I think it will be a good way for you guys to get to know me, while I work on more aspects of my site. I'm hoping to get some stuff added to my Belspring Photography section soon, so keep your eyes open! It's probably bad form to start this in the middle of the month, but, ehhh. Call me a rebel.
Day One: A photo of yourself, and a description of how your day went
Day One: A photo of yourself, and a description of how your day went
You'll notice I uploaded two, that's right, TWO photos. I told you I was a rebel. The photo on the left is "post work" Teacher Sam. Note my scholarly glasses (that actually, I usually don't wear) and chunky knit sweater. Tell me that doesn't scream educator. The photo on the right is Normal Sam. Old hoodie, favorite beanie, all ready to go outside and care for the critters (Muck boots not pictured). You can probably see my pup in the background of both pictures. He doesn't stray far from his momma, especially since Garthy has been gone.
Ok, here's my day description. Today was pretty good. Schools were on a two hour delay, which is always glorious. Cy and I slept in til SIX THIRTY!! That's a full HOUR more than usual. We enjoyed a leisurely morning of Steelers Dynasty Week on NFL Network, and I always like it when I can go out and feed in the daylight. Because I have recently sowed grass seed in my pasture, my horse and donkey currently reside in an electric fence in the front yard. (Yeah, I know how redneck that sounds) The way it's set up, I pretty much have to duck under the fence to get in. It's much easier not to shock the fire out of my ass when I can see.
Work was fairly normal and uneventful. We did, however, get a new student teacher for P.E. I've met the boy for about fifteen seconds and I'm fairly sure the other teachers are already planning our wedding. That's what I get for being the single lady in the house I suppose haha. Gotta love them :)
I'm pretty excited, because tonight Brianna and I are doing kickboxing at our gym! I've been dying to go since I joined and they finally got the class up and running. I have to say, I used to laugh at people that said they were obsessed with working out, but I've gotten pretty obsessed myself. It makes me feel awesome! And I loooove my gym. (If your looking for one to join, go to New River Fitness! www.newriverfitness.com). Hopefully I don't embarrass myself, but I mean, I'm pretty badass so it should be ok ;) HA!
I guess that pretty much sums up my day so far. After the gym is just super exciting stuff like laundry and homework. Until tomorrow friends.

UPDATE!! Kickboxing was freaking awesome. I was pouring sweat from head to toe and probably looked like a dork, but beating the crap out of that bag was fantastic. I have found my new favorite class, and my morning workout is gonna suuuuuuck tomorrow. WORTH IT.
